PRODUCT DESCRIPTION :
A quick-setting patch or as a complete
overlayment at any thickness, over any clean, stable surface, damp or
dry, interior or exterior. A complete package unit. No other materials
to buy -- no chipping -- no bonding coat required. Simply mix the ALPHACRETE
30TM POWDER with the ALPHACRETE
427TM LATEX liquid and trowel
in place.
USES FOR ALPHACRETE 30TM SYSTEM :
1. Repairing concrete sidewalks, steps,
driveways, garage floors, etc.
2. Patching and repairing magnesite or diato decks, stairs and floors.
3. Patching and resurfacing both cement and structurally sound wood industrial
floors where toughness, durability and chemical resistance may be required.
4. Leveling floors and decks for drainage purposes.
5. Underlayment leveling and smoothing before placing down vinyl tile,
asphalt tile or other types of flooring.
6. General patching of stucco and masonry surfaces.
PREPARATION FOR ALPHACRETE 30TM PATCHING
SYSTEM :
Remove all dust and foreign matter from
the area to be patched. If any coating or wax is on any part of surface
to be resurfaced, it must be removed by stripping, sanding, grinding,
or possibly by using T. S. P. for cleaning. After area is properly prepared,
apply ALPHACRETE 30TM MIXTURE
-- either as a heavy mortar mix , or as a more fluid mix, for thinner
applications.
MIXING :
To 50 - lb. bag of ALPHACRETE
30TM POWDER, add 1 - gal ALPHACRETE
427TM LATEX AND 1 - gal of
water. Power mix until all lumps are gone. For heavy mortar mix, add ALPHACRETE
30TMTM POWDER. For more fluid mix, add water to
desired consistency.
CLEAN - UP :
Wash up all equipment as soon as possible
with water. If allowed to dry, mixture becomes very difficult to remove.
CURE TIME :
ALPHACRETE 30TM generally
takes 12 - 24 hours to cure for light foot traffic. Cure time to obtain
90% of ultimate physical properties is about 28 days.
COVERAGE :
One 50 lb. bag of ALPHACRETE
30TM POWDER yields 67 sq.
ft. at a depth of 1/8 ì thickness.
