PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Alpha 8® 598 Flex-Deck is a high performance, 100% acrylic, high gloss coating designed for use on exterior decks, patios, walkways, and similar areas where foot traffic is heavy. It is excellent where outstanding durability and appearance is desired. Alpha 8® 598 Flex-Deck is designed to provide outstanding resistance to the effects of weather and foot traffic, maintaining excellent color retention, adhesion and resistance to chalking. Only the highest quality raw materials are used to produce Alpha 8® 598 Flex-Deck; considered to be on of the finest acrylic deck coatings available on the market. Production is rigidly controlled to assure consistent quality in every batch. Alpha 8® 598 Flex-Deck is easy to clean, safe to use, and solvent free. |

Excellent Dirt Pick-up Resistance Alpha 8® 598 Flex-Deck cures to a hard, glossy surface that maintains its pleasing appearance for an exceptionally long time. Safe to use Alpha 8® 598 Flex-Deck is a water based product. It is non-flammable. Water based means there are no clean-up problems and no pot life problems. Alpha 8® 598 Flex-Deck is ready to use and requires no dilution or additions. Easy to use Alpha 8® 598 Flex-Deck> may be applied by spray, brush, or roller. No thinning is required. All surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of dirt, grease, oil or other contaminants which would interfere with proper adhesion. Contact your Ace Coating Technical Representative for detailed application recommendations. Application Thinning is not required. Coverage rate of Alpha 8® 598 Flex-Deck is normally 300 to 400 square feet per gallon. At least 2 coats are normally recommended. Limitations Do not apply at temperatures below 50°F. Cool temperatures and high humidity retard cure. Do not apply coating if weather conditions will not permit it to dry before rain, dew or freezing temperatures. Do not ship or store unless protection from freezing is available. Caution - Caution - Caution Alpha 8® 598 Flex-Deck is a smooth grade, glossy product, and may be slippery if left smooth. It is required to use aggregate with the product to create a non-slip surface when being used on decks, patios, walkways, and any other areas where foot traffic may occur.
