ALPHA 8^® can withstand standing water and ponding for extremely long periods of time. Sometimes it is useful to see it in action so we set up an ongoing demonstration of this in our showroom.

This is a photo of a device coated with ALPHA 8^®. Month after month it is refilled in the showroom but NOT because there is any leakage due to ponding. (water level only goes down due to evaporation)

This is the top view of the same device. Though it might be hard to make out the ponding water, it demonstrates how powerful ALPHA 8^® is in preventing leaks even for unusually lengthy periods of time.

Though the container is made of Plexiglas, the surface underneath has been cut out. The only thing preventing the water from running all over the showroom floor is the ALPHA 8^® membrane, and it does this month after month!

ALPHA 8^® can withstand standing water and ponding for extremely long periods of time. Other roofs have many seams, cracks and are prone to leak with continued ponding.
