	The solution to the challenge of leaking 3rd floor planters was to use Ace Coating Co., Inc product -- Alpha 8® Below Grade® 665. It is a 100 percent acrylic elastomeric waterproof coating designed to go over all masonry surfaces (bricks, blocks, concrete, stucco) and metals. It withstands 4 pounds per square inch hydrostatic pressure. For more information see Below Grade.
